Today - national holiday it is!
Yep, extended weekend. Not bad, huh.
Actually two extended weekend in a row.

You'd better come over to work in Japan! Help our economy! Hahaha.

Had some work to do today… not in the office but just home.
Thus, I didn't go out to do anything. Rather, just stayed home all day.
Work was not that bad… though, needed some concentration.

Only once I went outside… for dry cleaning pick-up and something to eat for supper.

Morning and night… the temperature is lower...



In the morning, I was FORCED to walk the dog.
Though, found fancy flower… like that.
Cool. I appreciate the beauty of nature for sure.

Big shopping day for my family.
Though, nothing was for me. In fact, I didn't pick any for myself.
Why not?

Hmm. Just not in such mood to spend any money today.
Maybe just not my turn then.

Had a good cake, though.



Went in to "Afternoon Tea Cafe" and picked this cake.
Doesn't look too fancy… but tasty for sure. It really was. Recommended.
I should try others in the menu next time. Hehehe.

I had no luck.
Today's destination was the outlet mall in Chiba.
Yeah, drove about one hour. Not too far. Pretty quick.



In the dining area, I got this noodle plate.
Famous one. It was quite big for me; I barely finished the whole thing.
Well, good one for sure. Though, I doubt that I even get this noodle set again when coming here next time.



Another wonderful pick was of the cake. Fattening for sure. Hahaha.
Well, this is good and sweet enough.
Came from no-famous cake shop. Though, certainly good one.

I LOVE strawberries. I cannot resist this cake… TOO MUCH.

Right before typhoon is coming, I went out to do car wash.
By my hand, of course!
It was quite early morning like 7:30am. Good boy!



Took me 45 minutes to complete!
It were like good exercise, indeed.
Maybe I should do this more often for losing weight. Hahaha.

I have a good past about taking care of my car very well.
Particularly on my 2nd car - Oldsmobile Royal (1992).
I drove this car for 8 years or so.

Crazy big full-size 3.8 liter vehicle.

I did go car wash on this car quite often. Sometimes more than one a week!

I can take care of my car well… this is proof.
Now I can spend at least 30-40 minutes per week for clean this car for sure.
Well, am sure that I need to clean once again after this typhoon!

Somehow(?) went in to a Luxus dealership in the afternoon.
Yes, Friday afternoon indeed.
What about work? What about it??? Hahaha.



Look at this.
Lexus dealership serves coffee like that. Far better than ordinary coffee shop, I guess!
No wonder it was such a luxury brand.

For what purpose of my visit? Good question.
Test drive.
I wanted to drive IS series.

Only 300h was available at that time. Yeah, hybrid car.
Thus, I tried that.
Drove like 25 minutes or so. Including highway.

Not bad.
Good power, good acceleration, and very quiet inside while driving.
Though, not so much fun to drive.

Why?
Everything seemed very plain… quite boring! Hahaha.
True, though. It were for elders to drive.

NOT for me YET.

On the way home (?), decided to drop by for another thing.
MOVIE! Hehehe.



The Wolverine movie opened tonight. So I picked.
Well, I am not big fan of X-men. Though, I have seen the movie series.
If not seen other movies of the series, you do not want to see this because not making sense… much.

Story was about one Japanese solder's long time wish.
Turned out to be very evil.
Scenes were from different places in Japan. Many Japanese "characters."

However, not many famous Japanese actors in it. Most of them were either "not famous" or "non-Japanese."
Too bad!!!

Well, at the end roll credit, there was a message that story will continue. Cool.

Rare food for me to eat… but ate!
It was horse meat.
This "BAR" didn't serve anything else but horse meats. Interesting, huh.



It was like ordinary tavern. Really.



Fresh meat like sashimi.



"Tataki."



Somehow, "Loco Moco."

Quite reasonably priced. Pretty good taste, too.
Thus, I should go back and see other menu.
Good thing is that the location wasn't quite far from where I live.

It lines up lots of sake and wine. That is additional good point.
Well, I do not care much about sake… but maybe perfect to bring friends over.
Try this place again soon.

Wow, big news here.

It means that Japanese economy is once again boosting for next 5-7 years?
Sure I hope so!!!



cup noodle- It was my supper!
Since it was pouring rain going on… I quit planning to go out for grabbing something to eat.
Thus, instant noodle came just handy!

Bad for health? Sure it is not that good.

Finally, weekend has arrived.
Somehow, started it early for me.
Getting older? Woke up earlier… Hahaha.



Car wash place was quite crowded. Hard to find a place for my car to work on.
Though, somehow managed it.
Took me about 45 minutes or so to complete. Not bad.

Some exercise, it was ! Hehehe.

Had work to do home… so went back after that.
Made a quick stop-over. Picked up these:



Toyota "AURIS" - customized version " Char's Customize."
Yeah, it is character from the Mobile Suite Gundam.
Now, Toyota makes some interesting car for sure.

Extra 800,000 yen or 8,000 dollars for the complete customize kit.
Darn expensive!
But yet unique for sure.

Cannot wait to see the real customized car on the road!!!
