Big and strong typhoon is expected later today…
This means that lots of people stayed home for safety and fancy place in the middle of Tokyo should be empty…
MoonFlower and I planed and did walk in the new shopping district just open last week or so.

Under the perfect weather, the crowd should have pushed someone like us away… Hahaha.

Such idea going to that place was not that bad… Definitely some crowd… but it was okay…
We could have lunch at eat-in section without hassling for long line or anything.
Better say that it was mildly crowded.

MoonFlower even got the bread from the bakery usually required long waiting in line.
Such is the benefit that we live not too far away from the point of interest or sightseeing area.
Yep, living in the center of Tokyo sometimes gives us a good deal.



Oden - Japanese traditional dish was the supper for the day.



Maron cake is our pick from the department store.
These were pretty good!

Working Saturday! Though, outside the project that I engage for now.
Voluntary working group exists and hold a session for all day and I somehow joined.
Very rare that I participate something over the weekend, huh! Indeed.

Group of young consultants studies trend and how to sell the consulting business…
Very talented people in there and I found it quite interesting.
Definitely worth to spent my time even from the weekend.

I am quite isolated due to the nature of project condition from the rest of organization or firm, entirely.
This unique experience did remind me that I was and am still belonged to the large group of people. Hahaha.



Showed up to the not-too-far Japanese tavern place along with MoonFlower.
Japanese cuisine… fish dishes with Sake.
Very different from previous night, huh. It is.

Tomorrow, nothing could be planned due to typoon… bringing the messy weather in.

Anyway, September is now almost over… 3 months to go… OH BOY!

Client showed intension to engage a project with me next year today.
Usually, it requires LoI or Letter of Intension.
Though, today's verbal expression is good enough for time being.



I can at least move forward to planning next year…
Do I get even busier than this year? Well, will see…
At minimum, I won't get bored. Hahaha.

Another extended weekend is now over.
Didn't do much… nothing quite accomplished. So what?
It means, I spent very easy time for myself… totally relaxing. Don't you agree?

Came back in town. DIdn't encounter the holiday traffic at all. Good deal.
Though, didn't come home straight.
Instead, showed up to this tall building place.



Soramachi Shopping Mall next to this "Skytree" tower.
MoonFlower wanted to buy some special stuff in there… so I had to wait in car for a while until she got it done.
That was the only even for the day. Pretty easy, huh. Yep, it really was.



Even supper came easy, too. Past dinner then.
No complains. Just simple weekend and it was alright.
May be quite busy tomorrow… will see. At least I have to get ready for whatever it may be. Many meetings scheduled.

Showed up in Chiba… I got up early.
Woke up around 6:30am. Very unusual during the weekend.
Isn't that same for you? Just a guess.



Completed family stuff and came to see family dog… black Labrador named "Love."
She is old like 16 years old or so (!) but she seems still fine.
Back in March, MoonFlower and I seriously concerned of her health and somewhat we expected the worst thing.

Now she is fine and keep going even though she makes her move quite slow or so…

Very important family member… definitely part of us.

No plan for this long weekend…
Lucky enough to have another one like that.
MoonFlower took our car for some hobby event and I came to totally open time.

So had to plan something just for myself.
Looked up the movie time table… and chose "Skyscraper."



Didn't expect much out of this movie. Seemed very easy and simple.
The movie was actually what I just imagined. No surprise.
Because of that, it was pretty easy entertainment for someone to kill time like me.

Picked up some foods for supper on the way back.
Gyoza or pork dumplings are my choice and bought two different kinds.
Tried to compare which I may like more.

Between Japanese pork and imported / cheap pork…



I can tell the richness of each kind… but not much difference.
From next time on, I should buy cheaper one / import pork since today's result.
Or maybe, I do not have good taste for food? No sense of taste?

Not so well? I feel a little bit funny…
Is this FATIGUE?
Not sure.

Maybe I ate this for lunch?



Heavy deep-fried (tempura) stuff?
Wrong choice or bad food?
I know that it was rather heavy… to my stomach. Taste was even thick…

I should rest for a while… just laid down… Feel better for now.
My health level is not so up any more? I cannot be down since long weekend is ahead.
You know, it really sucks that one gets sick over any weekend.

My philosophy… I should get sick on Monday the best. If not, Tuesday or Wednesday… NEVER EVER on weekend.
You know what I mean.



Today's watch - AP was on my wrist. This usually powers me up.
Didn't work well today… somehow?
Will see how I feel when I get up tomorrow morning.

Today's job was as easy as gets. Though, I still have many requests for improvement to my project member.
I forced myself not to dump them all at once… I give him piece by piece to make sure that he can digest each.
Thing is not that bad; however, I want him to master what he does… or what I want him to do. Hahaha.

Tomorrow, interesting project event with unique client follow to face up.
Will see how it would go.
Wish him (not me) luck!

One more thing…

Yes, notice came in. I can pick up new iPhone TOMORROW. Yep, lucky day.

Delivered. A big box just came in.

Tons of bread… which MoonFlower had placed an order for.
They came from the bakery called "Kaiju-ya." Seems famous among big bread fans.
Of course, she is one of them.

At least I would keep coming to good bread over home meal for a while. Cool.

Simple working day for me because I did project work alone today. All day long without any interruption by anyone.
Very productive it was.
Though, I had to face up a client who talked back so much… it was rather fun time for persuasion. It went well then.

I guess that today's meeting was the biggest event during this week. All other project events are rather minor.
It means I easily come to another long weekend soon without any hassle? Will see.
2 days to go… until then.

Short week starting from Tuesday just began.
Things went in peace at least for the day since there is no appointment with any client.
Though, still working day is here and I had a long meeting with subordinate consultant on the current project.

I do not mean to be bad boss or mean person. Though, I have to make this fellow to have accelerated thinking.
Logical thinking and analytical thinking… and the persuasive talk on top…
He is very talent person for sure. Though, my expectation from this project perspective is much higher.

Thus, I have to ask many questions when he raises topics. Many questions… more than you imagine for sure.
Why doing such? Well, I do not want to give him answers because I want him to take necessary "thinking" steps.
That didn't come easy at least today. Hahaha.

I almost (did?) ran out of my patience… waiting for nothing. Well, gave him some hints…
Definitely, foster some subordinate consultant to become even more competent is tough and requires LOTS of patience.
I should not complain too much.

Oh forgot to say this.
I placed an order for new iPhone XS online on 14th.
Order confirmation states that 18:30 on 9/14/2018.



Sales begin on 21st… this Friday. How soon do I come to new phone?

I pass the largest iPhone ever. My hand is small and I still carry iPad pro around.

In Japan, another 3-day extended weekend is ahead. iPhone XS goes on sale from Friday just before that.
If lucky enough, I may hold new phone in my hand this weekend… will see.

An extended weekend is just gone by for nothing. At least it was quiet and peaceful.
It means that I spent very relaxing time home, mostly.
According to my schedule, September is going to be easy month ever before difficult time.

I should enjoy myself as much in remaining time before getting too busy.

My Instagram is yet actively doing well. Today, total follows is up to 930.
My goal for 2018 is 1,000 and I have another several months to achieve it.
Not bad. Still on track.

Should be fun.

Did not have any exact plan for the day at all. Just like day before.
Though, MoonFlower came up single agenda that we go to Yurakucho to see some shop.
She wanted to buy some baked stuff like cookies. Yep, her usual stuff. No surprise whatsoever.

Thus, I am forced to follow her to the destination. Not too far from the apartment, though.

Shopping was rather quick and we didn't have to hurry as much she forced me to. Hahaha.
Then, we continued shopping in that area today.



While spending none for myself, I came to eat good stuff in the restaurant.
She still suffers in the pain from the dental surgery and had to pass alcohol.
For me, such thing never bothers.



Also great sweets in the late afternoon for us. Not bad at all.
Popular place made many people wait. She and I signed up and waited for about 40 minutes or so.
Waiting was indeed worth to do, though.



And these are what MoonFlower got from shopping at the Conran Shop.
I gave her green light for shopping. Though, didn't expect this quantity. Hahaha. Too late.
Anyway, those cutlery items look very cool. Good choice, I guess.

It means that MF has great taste??? Oh boy, that may induce such nightmares like I have to pay for pricey stuff.

Too much drinks? Too much good time?
Big night it was. I was called upon gathering in Omotesando.
Gathering is among those who spent same time in US for study abroad.



Some of them still live overseas.
I met some new people as well.
Good time and was a good incentive to myself. I bet that it is the same to others as well.
