Weekend just begins!
As usual… I head to the Thai school for lesson.
Teacher told me that I looked so sleepy.

Sure, I was! Just after long drinking streak, right? No wonder.

Finished Session 11 & 12 of Level 2 today. Became smarter than yesterday. Hahaha.

1st thing after Thai lesson was to exchange some money… need local currency to live.
Good rate is provided at local liquor shop like:



Thaniya Spirit is one of the most famous places for Japanese to exchange.
Very good rate. Much better than one at ordinary banks. Hahaha.

10,000 yen turns to be 4,010 baht in today's rate. Pretty good!!!
Now my budget for Season 7 is all available in baht. Hehehe.



Late afternoon, decided to hit this "must-see" movie.
Bantman "The Dark Knight Rises."

Long movie… almost 3-hour long.
Though, This was very good movie. Impressive.
Not only of Ann Hathaway's slender body as Cat Woman. Hehehe.

You'd better see this even if not seen any of series. Worth it for sure.

Practically 1st day for Season 7.
In the morning, I went to Labor Department for visa-related processing.

Didn't take too long.
By 11am, back in the Project Room.
Several status-checking then. Quickly done.



In the afternoon, long session took place before me.
It was not my direct-involvement event. Peace with me.
Though, I kept questioning about the productivity for process step review like that.

Hahaha. Must be Thai way. Really.

After work, hit the road to Soi 31 tonight. Destination was Italian restaurant.

Grabbed Soba noodle for my lunch.
900 yen. Pretty good taste with big shrimps!



Today's flight was by ANA - All Nippon Airways. B767-300. Darn old fleet it was!!!



Smooth flight made me drink a bit more than usual.
Had 2 bottles of white wine today.
Put me a sleep easily. Hehehe.





No choice for me who sit in really rear. The other meme was gone quickly.

Supper at home started with bottle of bear. Unusual.
"Grand Kirin." - is that premium brand? Never knew before.



Eel was the main dish for me.
I asked MoonFlower to fix it as last supper home together.
Yes, had missed this food for long time.



I bought some cakes for both of us for after-dinner dessert.



Coincidentally, MF brought some sweets as well.
Thus, we had plenty of sweets home tonight.
Ate too much for sure!!! Hahaha.

Looks very cheap. Well, simple function, unlike iPad, is good enough for me.

Today's guest to my dinner… Tetsu. Old friend over 15 years???
Used to work together.

He wanted to go to particular tavern for supper.







Ate and drank… and drank and ate...
Seemed everything was endless.

Good friend made the time out of my concern. Sure, right?
Yeah truly.



Fun continued and we went to my "usual" bar.
Every time I come home, I make a quick stop-by.

Had only one glass of whisky… good enough.
Though, talked about lots of stuff like:

hobby - watch
hobby - leather shoe

What else talked about… hmmm too many to remember!!!

Fun night it was… indeed!

It is Monday night and I went out for drinks with Kirk tonight.
He said that he would have to go to hospital for check-up tomorrow.

Tomorrow?
Then, he drinks with me tonight?
Asked him many times if this was okay or not.

He totally okayed. Really? Yeah, really.
Hope things will be okay with him tomorrow.

Recently, bought a new belt for my watch - Cartier Santos 100.
Finally arrived.

Usually, user has to order for new belt upon selecting type of leather and leather color.



They are navy color. Can you see?



Since purchase, default brown belt has been worn out over 4 years.
Now time to "refresh."



So cool even without the belt. Hahaha.

Half bottle of sparkling wine - at 6,000 yen. Pretty darn expensive! Hahaha.





Appetizer was the best of all tonight.





Not lamb… but veal tonight.





Pudding was my choice of the dessert.



This Italian were like French. Though, pretty good!
The volume was nicely calculated. Good course!

Cost? Not matter tonight. Hahaha.
Whatever it takes to satisfy MoonFlower (mind and stomach).

Belated wedding anniversary dinner tonight. Hahaha.

All project members were there for having fun together.



Coffee Beans by Dao - seems very high-end fancy cafe and food.
It surely served Thai food as well.



Well, notably home-made cakes are famous. Hehehe.





Lots of Thai food easily filled our stomach.
Good food for sure.



Some "oldies" joined us afterward. Hahaha.



Two members came to the end of mission, not coming back to Thailand for next season.

Pretty convenient as one TV can be viewed from bed room and living room.
Occasionally, I watch TV from the bed.



Bed room… King size bed with two pillows.
Hmm, too large for me.
I have NO COMPANY to my room whatsoever. No hired wife or any kind… Hahaha.

Usually stay at the edge of the bed for sleep.

Oh today's only update except above… is of movie that I saw in the afternoon.

"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."



Hmmm… not type of movie that I like. Hahaha. It was okay.
I should've paid more attention - "Vampire" stuff isn't my favorite. Hahaha.

Maybe I expect more fun out of "Magic Mike." That movie looks fun for sure.
I am going to watch that next week. Hehehe.

Usually Saturday - went to learn Thai again!



My teach thought that I looked so tired or even looked stressed.
Maybe because of work?

Oh went to a restaurant that I have never been to.
It was Thai.
Unusual for me to eat Thai during the weekend! Hahaha.



Pad Thai it was.
Pretty good!
Darn cheap! Only 45 Baht. Gosh… I usually pay over 200 Baht per meal!

Really…

I may come back to this restaurant again.

At night… home drinking…
Started with wine cooler and followed by bourbon whiskey - I go with straight. Hehehe.
Getting drunk by myself??? Hahaha!

Project members were up to Mahjong after work.
Yeah, big Friday night entertainment / game among us.
Four of us spent time over the game for decent hours… like 5 hours?



The place is really for Japanese customer-only.
Not really crowded, though.



It was first time for me to play game in over 10 years!!!
Plus, absolutely 1st time to play on the automatic Mahjong table ever.

Came to a big loss… I was at last place after all.

Loss of 2,000 baht. Seriously!!!
Big loss for me like I usually do not carry more than 1,000 baht.
Hahaha.

Shocking. Indeed.

After work… didn't plan to have big dinner…
Though, came to this place. Favorite place.
Not too far from the apartment.

Popular place is always crowded even Thursday night like tonight.



Opened just a bottle of white wine tonight.
Ate salad, olives, pasta, and this pizza. Pretty good!

I should come here once a week… At least I like to.

Weekend is now coming to an end…
Not much accomplished today. Except that I went to see a movie.



The Amazing Spiderman.
Amazing, right? It should have been.

Though, story wasn't that exciting and amazing to me.
Maybe because I saw it in 2D instead of 3D.
Value of entertainment was different, I guess.

Though, I feel like if Peter Parker didn't do anything…
Nothing really happened. Nobody was really killed. Hahaha.
I've said enough.



Lamborghini was in the showcase at the mall where I watched the movie.
Wow, someone happened to be come by and would buy this???
I do not think so!

If rich person crazy about super car like that, he would have to know of such great car in the mall for other shopping purpose.
At least good promotion, right? Hahaha.



I'd better tell those who run this promotion…
CHANGE the carpet to other color… red or yellow… whatever!
Black body on black carpet… NO CONTRAST!
