More Drinks with Friends
27, 12 12, 18:45
Yes, you can call me crazy…
I have another year-end gathering with friends. Yeah, tonight, too. Hahaha.
I cannot resist… too much.
Showed up in Shinjuku area to see several friends… who are…
KNOWN OVER 20 YEARS!
No kidding!!!
I met them when freshman year when I was 19 years old… See?
Tonight too bad that one of them couldn't make it because of sick…
So we missed Takashi from this party.
Amy and Kazuma joined me over dinner then.
Pizza was pretty good!
First visit of mine there… more than expected.
Good deal.
Pasta was even better!
Didn't finish the party or our conversation… automatically went in to 2nd place after Italian.
This time, Japanese. Very Japanese tavern like. Hehehe.
Right? You can even scream!
I'd better admit that I overate. Yeah, I did. So what?
It is end of the year! We better celebrate!
L to R: me, Kazuma, and Amy.
Surprise "Christmas" present from Amy!
Thank you so much!!! What a great surprise!
It was money clip. Yey!!! Loved it.
Use it immediately.
Friends, it was a great night. Thank you.
Will see you so soon immediately after new year.
Yes, New Year Party next!!!

Farewell All Night
26, 12 12, 18:39
Now firm's team is dissolved and many of "us" leaving the work for good!
Tonight farewell, not funeral, took place in Roppongi.
20-some friends got together over dinner.
Farewell gifts from the coworkers!
Like hunting hat. Nice!
Shoe caring kit.
Hand and body soap
Why underwear for me??? Hahaha.
Good joke!
Very kinky but cool present it is.
Festivity doesn't come to an end, easily!
Finished 2nd place around 2:30am.
No more trains for the day to go home.
Then, 7 of us decided to continue.
Went into sport bar for some more fun.
Pool table
Golf simulator and even played darts.
Pretty fun even though all of us were quite drunk!!! Hehehe.
Certainly, became memorable night.
Here is my BIG THANK-YOU!!!
Flower box for me.
Very cute!!!
Underwear… nicely "boxed."
Boxer pants. Hahaha.
Nice try. Liked it!
Underwear for two… couple --- meaning for MoonFlower and I???
Oh boy! What a joke!
Though, I liked it.

Hi folks. Turned out to be a big Tuesday night party!!!
Showed up to Ginza area… for meeting friends.
Channel & Cartier - fancy electric decorations. So cool.
Not eager to cross the street to take a closer shot to the huge Christmas tree.
Tonight's venue. Italian restaurant called CENTO ANNI.
I have used this place over half dozen of times, already. Like this place so much.
Kirk and Charlie… got together.
Of course, Yoko also with us tonight.
Plenty of wine for four of us.
Yoko, me, Charlie and Kirk (L-R)
Charlie had to go home after that restaurant.
Three of us continued. Hahaha.
To Shinbashi area.
Stand bar - Cash on delivery style.
Yoko comes this particular tavern often??? So true.
Pretty good home-made style dishes. Perfect.
With drunk Yoko. Hahaha. So fun!
Let's do it again soon!

Guests to Our Home
08, 12 12, 18:08
Memorial day for me… today, two friends were invited as guest to our home.
Since the day MoonFlower and I moved in this place, having guests like that should be part of our lives.
So far, she held two dinners with friends… now first time for me.
Decoration / presentation is part of our "welcome."
Champagne bottle was opened!
Full of foods… cannot let guests go back home with empty stomach. Hahaha.
Still continues.
How many bottles???
MoonFlower's home-made lasagna becoming my favorite!
This bottle - French wine was of my selection. Pretty good!!!
Entree - roasted pork. Yum!
Full of sweets, too!
Guests for the Day.
Left - Tetsu & Right - Ryuji - we all worked for the same company long time ago… like year 2001.
Since then, we are still friends - dining together quite often.
Great friends with numerous topics to talk about.
Work (logistics), family, hobby and fashion. What else???
Great time really passes by so fast.
Started around 4pm… and it turned to be 11pm, quickly.
Almost missed the last train for the day. Hahaha.
Well both, we thank you for coming and sharing great time with us!
Who is next guest?

Year-End Party Already!
07, 12 12, 18:18
Before the year-end party - another party came.
iPad mini 64GB White is ready for my pickup.

Yodobashi Camera do not give me a call.
Insteady, I have to check the site for inventory.
They cancel order unless picked up within 3 days.

Pick-up was immediately carried out. Hahaha.
My new gadget is finally arrived.
Didn't take much to set it up because of using the "installation from backup."
Quite simple.
Dinnar party took place in Roppongi.
Yeah, I used to go that place for work for long time…
Very fancy place… lot of cute girls in town! Hahaha.

"Lie back" restaurant for party. I was the 1st person shown up.

Full of foods. Ate too much.

Many friends!

Isao's birthday today. A little surprise.

Good cake. Strawberries covered.

Fun people together tonight!

05, 09 12, 18:44
Showed up to local tavern… located in Kameido.
I hadn't see one friend for a long time even though we are known each other for almost 4 years or so.
New place to me. Very nice presentation!
Good taste and CHEAP!!!
Nothing special… yet, way too cool!
Friend (left) Abe-san took his coworker to hang around with me…
It is HIgashimoto-san (right). Nice to meet you for sure!

Thinking of Vacation? Dined with Friends
04, 09 12, 18:32
Hi folks!
Of course I didn't forget about the English update here. hahaha.
I was quite lazy. Yes, I admit it.
I only concentrated to deal with Japanese blog!
2nd day at new office.
Still doing the project that is yet taking place in Bangkok.
Now start thinking of "vacation" that I deserve right after this project.
Wait.
Next phase of what we're doing for now?
Good question.
Well, Even if there is the next phase of the project, I may not be the one for running the project.
It means that I can be assigned to something else. Yeah, another project at different location.
Anyhow, I will plan to take a long vacation.
Long means how long?
Hmm.
Let's say, 20 days? Combined with ordinary weekends, I can be "away from work" for whole month.
Not bad, huh. Not bad at all.
After 5 years working for consulting firm like this, I think most of you okay me for that, right?
Hehehe.
Tonight after work-
Joined with Tetsu and Tsbk for supper.
Took place in Koiwa area. Yeah, my area.
Not much drinks for me as:
started with beer
glass of wine (very small glass) followed
That was it!
Quite little... almost nothing, right?
Yeah, I was quite up to drinks... but ended up drank some.
Maybe I was quite up to the talk with good friends.
Both are yet in logistics industry and I have lots to learn from them.
Also, I learned that there were so many people suffered from mental illness there.
I should be careful about that... which can happen to anyone.
Thanks to both friends tonight, had fun topic kept going.
Festivity closed around 11pm before too late since Tetsu had to go long way to home.
After the fun, I could go on to my "usual" bar for more...but didn't.
Maybe tomorrow? Since I have another friend to go dine with. Hahaha.

Last (Golf) Shot in Thailand?
11, 08 12, 20:36
Maybe this is last time for me to play golf in Thailand…
Since this is LAST SEASON in BKK… as far as things are concerned for time being. Hahaha.
Woke up at 5am and went to Pleasant Valley Golf and Country Club.
1st visit for me, of course.
This is 4th round for me in this year.
Last time was back in April. Remember?
Usually breakfast at any golf club. Hahaha.
Khaw ton (rice soup).
Shiro liked his caddy for today. Very kind. Hahaha.
Plus, it was sensational… since Yossy's 1st golf round ever in his life!
Welcome to club!
His swing is very beautiful!
I sure that it won't take too much time for him to improve his golf.
Soon he will be a good player.
Better than me? Sure!
Speaking of which…
My score was usual… no surprising but not boring yet.
IN 52
OUT 49
Total 101
See? It is "Tamadaa" (usual). Hahaha.
Tonight after golf, went to see this:
"Bourne Legacy." Someone called this "Bourne Redundancy." Pretty good joke!
It was as side story of three Bourne series. Pretty interesting…enjoyed but disappointed at the end.
Hmmm. Is this going to continue??? Seemingly so.
Should Jason (Matt Demon) be back!
Fun Saturday it was!

Free Food & Drink
10, 08 12, 20:11
After work, showed up to usual "Wine Connection" with coworkers.
Again? Sure, again.
We like this place so much.
Any issue? Hahaha.
So crowded… ran out of champaign glasses tonight.
This red… was what kind? Do not remember.
Usual gang!
How come my butt looks so big? Hmmm.

Visa Visit for Whole Day...
09, 08 12, 19:53
Had to go to renew the visa for my stay.
I know, this is still necessary even though the number of days in BKK is yet limited.
Rules are rules! Hahaha.
Huge governmental building complex.
What is this open area for?
Maybe you can run and scream around for nothing? Hahaha.
Local food for lunch.
This is large size. Large enough?
Not water. Chai tea. Pretty sweet.
N'Tity and Ogakijin… how come we hate each other so much?
Of course not. Happened to be that way in this picture.
Accident, right?
Immigration. Took so much time… though, settled at the end.
Long day just for this. Hmm.

Mexican Foods!!!
04, 08 12, 20:33
I was quite desperate to eat Mexican food until today.
New friend Hiroko agreed to go to eat Mexican food tonight.
Mushroom quesadilla!!!
Gosh, they were great!!!
Just as I wanted!!!
Onion rings came with fancy decoration. Hahaha. Big surprise.
And it was Ogakijin… not too drunk yet. Hahaha.
Fun night lasted long… until the close of restaurant.
Too much talk as well (BANG!)

Project Team Upgraded
03, 08 12, 20:57
Just one day working between Thai national holiday and weekend.
Not bad… really not bad.
I saw so many people were taking off.
Seems to be the Thai summer vacation period is finally here.
Of course, there is no "recess" for any project. No exception.
We have to "keep on working" like Duracell battery! Hahaha. (old joke?)
Anyhow, many meetings, mostly internal, took place since…
Rest of team members joined the project from Japan today.
Including new member!
Remember that we let 2 men go back to Japan… now 1 new on board.
Worked late. Even cancelled the dinner appointment. Too bad.
Then, we ended up having team dinner at Italian restaurant.
Same restaurant that I went last Friday. Wow!
Of course different menu selected from previous visit.
Famous "Titanic" pizza. 380 baht. USD10.
New member on left. It is Akiko.
She joins IT track of the project.
Welcome board, girl!
She is newly wed… is she or her husband okay that you both are so apart for a while?
In the middle, "usual" Shiro - the "Captain of the Ship (=project)."
Say hello to the Team!
Yossy on most right seemed having cold… hope he makes quick recovery!
Before the entrance of the restaurant "Bella Napoli" on Soi 31 Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
Had fun over fantastic dinner tonight.
Thank you all!

Once Again: Wine Connection
01, 08 12, 20:26
Yes, my favorite place in Bangkok - "Wine Connection."
Once again tonight…
Since tomorrow and day after are "no alcohol" by law.
Thus, better drink tonight, RIGHT? Hahaha.
Darn right!
Different seat than usual.
Different view for sure. Hahaha.
Seeing a gay couple right up front… very Thai, right?
My favorite is karamari - 90 baht. Always order!
Sparkling wine - semi seco to start with.
Red - cabernet sauvignon to follow.
This was pretty good.
Even steak?!
and dessert!!!
Shiro obviously got more than enough...
N'Tity is in the middle.
Fun night… with drinks and food.
With great companies.
Thank you, friends!

Kobo & Tetsu
24, 07 12, 20:23
Yeah, Kobo is finally here in Japan.
Canadian eReader is now available in Japan since Rakuten bought the Kobo.
Yes, I got one for myself.
This thin reading gadget is pretty cool!
Looks very cheap. Well, simple function, unlike iPad, is good enough for me.
Hope this gadget is to be the leverage for more reading.
Project members were interested in this new cool stuff and seemed to like this.
Today's guest to my dinner… Tetsu. Old friend over 15 years???
Used to work together.
He wanted to go to particular tavern for supper.
Ate and drank… and drank and ate...
Seemed everything was endless.
Good friend made the time out of my concern. Sure, right?
Yeah truly.
Fun continued and we went to my "usual" bar.
Every time I come home, I make a quick stop-by.
Had only one glass of whisky… good enough.
Though, talked about lots of stuff like:
work - freight business
work - style
work - Thai business
hobby - watch
hobby - leather shoe
hobby - iPad
What else talked about… hmmm too many to remember!!!
Fun night it was… indeed!

Friend Kirk & New Belt for Cartier Santos 100
23, 07 12, 18:48
It is Monday night and I went out for drinks with Kirk tonight.
He said that he would have to go to hospital for check-up tomorrow.
Tomorrow?
Then, he drinks with me tonight?
Asked him many times if this was okay or not.
He totally okayed. Really? Yeah, really.
Hope things will be okay with him tomorrow.
Tavern located in Tsukishima area.
Kirk "as usual"
He is going to get (finally) married this fall.
Congrats!!!
I am so relieved! Hahaha.
Lots of drinks and food tonight.
Over eating and over drinking. Beat me!
Though, it was fantastic time with long time friend.
We've known each other for almost 15 years now?
Cool!!!
One more thing.
Recently, bought a new belt for my watch - Cartier Santos 100.
Finally arrived.
Usually, user has to order for new belt upon selecting type of leather and leather color.
They are navy color. Can you see?
Since purchase, default brown belt has been worn out over 4 years.
Now time to "refresh."
So cool even without the belt. Hahaha.
New look with navy belt!!!
What do you think?
Better than I really thought.
Very cool.
Unfortunately, it is not time to put on my wrist for a while… since summer.
Hahaha.
In fact, I was wearing this watch all day today:
Tag Heuer watch.
Anyway, so glad to make Santo 100 get new look like that!!!

Season-6-End Celebration!
19, 07 12, 10:10
Yes, it is (almost) over!!!
Season 6 is now coming to an end… happily? Will see. Hahaha.
Anyhow, celebration took place in cafe tonight.
All project members were there for having fun together.
Coffee Beans by Dao - seems very high-end fancy cafe and food.
It surely served Thai food as well.
Well, notably home-made cakes are famous. Hehehe.
Lots of Thai food easily filled our stomach.
Good food for sure.
Some "oldies" joined us afterward. Hahaha.
Two members came to the end of mission, not coming back to Thailand for next season.
Well done, folks!
Cakes are never missed! Hahaha.
Pretty good!
And some surprise…
Great Team!
and more… Hahaha.
Hahaha.

Season 5 Finale
15, 06 12, 20:04
Okay… for me not yet… but for others… yes, it was LAST DAY of Season 5.
Tomorrow, majority of team members hit back to Japan.
Project Manager and I have to stay for attending Board Meeting. Darn it.
Season finale took place at Wine Republic.
Very expensive place… I was quite surprised.
Usual destination - Wine Connection is much much reasonable.
Yossy and N'Tity. Having fun?
Bottle starts from 1,000 baht and up.
Good wine for sure.
Onion rings really reminded me of college life.
Khun Seree in the middle.
Fancy place… fancy car found.
McLaren!!! Cool, right? Some rich Thai driving such luxury super car out there!
We went on to Ramen Champions for eating ramen noodles.
After this, had some more drinks. That was it for tonight!
Maybe next time… going into such club? This place is called MUSE.
Seemed to be packed at Friday night. Have you been there?
Anyhow, most of things are over for Season 5.
Let us finish all remaining.

Tai-Nichi Tech of Institute: Last Class
07, 06 12, 20:36
One last class at Thai-Nichi Technology of Institute.
Actually, it is already last class of "Japanese Business Consulting" today.
Yeah, after all those. Hehehe.
Now after my class, lots of familiar faces. Boys and girls!
Aajan Hosoya was the lead of today's class.
He gave me that opportunity to teach those talented Thai students. I had so much fun with them!
Final presentation by team… I had to evaluate per presentation material and presentation itself.
Tough to judge!!!
They were really awesome. No big difference in their efforts. So precious for sure.
Some were so eager to be ready for their own.
Some others were curious of other teams.
After all 6 teams presented, individual wrap-up took place. Includes instructors.
Yeah, I had to say something!
3 things learnt in class and comments about the class.
Those Thai students in this class has:
-good basic (English) skills
-good mental to speak up
-good environment (to learn something new like this class subject)
I just reminded them of those three things as my comment.
Thus, they should be confident to study even harder for future success.
Class shot after class.
In the evening, class dinner took place. Almost all students came. Great!!!
Final score of presentation was revealed during the dinner and prizes were awarded!
Girls' team made 2nd place. Congrats!
Team led by Gap did a good job and secured the 1st place!
Prize was Japanese T-shirt.
Congrats!
After the ceremony, it was a matter of gathering among "friends."
No more "sensei" and students.
It was fun!
Another class shot outside the restaurant.
Some students and we went on after this… to the club.
A little (?) more drinking and crazy dance! Hahaha.
Crazy… but certainly FANTASTIC time with great students.
Thank you, all!!!

Vienchan Kitchen in Tong Lo
29, 05 12, 20:55
Hi folks. What's up? Just done Tuesday… another 4 days to go. Oh boy.
Couple of things really irritated me today… but okay… some stress, though.
All day long… different kinds of meetings took place. Thank God, all were okay.
For dinner, I went out along with colleagues because we had some guests from Japan.
I was kind of late due to work and one was already gone back to the airport. Gosh! I wanted to see her!
Anyhow, showed up to Vienchan Kitchen located in Tong Lo area.
Restaurant with entertainment stage… obviously for tourists' place.
In fact, this was 2nd time visit for me. My friend took me over here long time ago.
Now I know where this place is. Hahaha.
Dance.
Khun Yasu surely joined. He couldn't resist… raised his hand for participation. Hahaha.
Aajan Hosoya followed. He had to get the touch of exotic Thai taste since teaching Thai students. Hahaha.
Finally, this fellow. Shiro.
He widely smiled since holding cute girl's hands like that.. Indeed joy.
Hahaha.
Good dinner… seemed a bit expensive. But I was treated! Thank you!

Farewell Dinner with Friend Kirk
25, 05 12, 18:01
It is Friday… last working day in Japan for me… before very next BKK trip!!!
Time really flies… already last day? Gosh.
Anyhow, work is work. Right?
Now you can take a look at my attire for the day.
Still "Super Duper Cool Biz."
Hahaha.
Yes, wearing PINK! What's wrong with that???
FYI - I am not a gay… and I never like gay. Got it?
Hahaha.
Shirt and jeans are both from Tsumori Chisato.
Very cool, huh!
Tonight - I was with Kirk - long time friend since Atlanta era.
Remember of him???
Went to a tavern in Shimbashi for eatingJapanese stuff.
Don Perignon - in pink??? Hahaha.
Still Japanese alcohol!
Tavern was packed with (almost) all Japanese male.
I should hold pink drink, wearing pink shirt. Hahaha.
Good combination!
Then hit the road to Ramen noodle shop.
My usual place… called Sawa - but in different location tonight.
Very tasty… as always. Good stuff!
Better than any ramen noodle ever found in Bangkok! Hahaha.
Okay… one more day to go for me to "stay" in Tokyo.

Social Gathering
23, 05 12, 18:46
Hi folks.
I went to work, wearing totally casual… shirts bought last Sunday and jeans. Sneakers.
Serious? Is Japanese culture taking such malbehavior? Hahaha.
Wait. Should I really call it "malbehavior?"
No longer. Simply. Culture is changing here.
This year, guideline that the firm has drawn is a bit more casual than previous year.
Now jeans are okay. Not T-shirts, though. Hahaha.
Work was work.
I stuck with system's best practice all day long. At least still on track to the plan.
That's important… never behind the plan, right???
Anyhow, main event was of the dinner with friends.
5 friends got together… all are from previous company.
In fact, more were invited. Some couldn't make it.
Missing 2 particular fellows tonight.
They are newly wed… thus, marriage was the center of tonight's topic over drinks.
Too bad.. they were not with us tonight.
Well, we took a look at it in different way… still did talk about it with lots of laughs! Hahaha.
Too bad.. they couldn't make it… while we were talking about them!
Gathering with good and old friends is always "catch-up" and lots to talk about.
Am sure that this is for anyone… the same way.
No wonder that I ate more than I could… and drank more than I could…
Definitely adding some weight.
I will start working on that effective TOMORROW.
See ya!

Last Day in Bangkok for Season 4
16, 05 12, 18:38
Finally came to the last day in Bangkok as far as the "Season 4" goes here.
Hahaha… season 4… means we have 5 to come up? That's exactly what will be happening soon!
Anyhow, I was busy on this last day for internal meetings.
After word, didn't spend much time with colleagues tonight.
I had an appointment. Yes, "phom mii nat leaw na."
My friend Tetsu - came over to Bangkok for business meetings.
So I went up to see him for dinner and some drinks.
He came along with his female colleague. Thus, three of us went to Thai restaurant in Ekkamai - Thong Lo area.
Quite good chicken BBQ! Ate too much. Hahaha.
Too bad that I "forgot" to take pictures tonight.
No proof.. but certainly I was with them! Hahaha.
Now I'd better start packing for going back to Japan…
Folks, see you soon!

Watched "the Avengers"
01, 05 12, 20:52
What's up? How's it going?
I heard that it is ordinary working day in Japan today… did you work? Or did you take a day off?
Whichever it was for you, hope things were okay with you all!
Woke up at normal time… it was holiday (wan yut) in Thailand! Yes, "Labor Day."
No project work today.
Thank God.
Lack of sleep for sure because went to bed late like 3am and woke up around 8am.
It's still okay… am enjoying my life as much!
Went to au bon pain for breakfast as usual like weekend.
Found who?
My friend was already held a seat for me! Hahaha.
He seemed to be kicked out from his apartment room because of maid service for cleaning.
Look at him, he still wearing pajamas-like.
Please take shower and get dress before going out to anywhere! Hehehe.
Took BTS train for movie!
It was quite important day because the opening of "the Avengers."
Yeah, long-waited American hero movie! Hahaha.
Since it was "wan yut (holiday)" here in Bangkok… tons of people came to theatre before me!!!
Long line it was for getting ticket.
Timing-wise, we selected normal movie, not 3-D version. I do not care much.
Do you?
"The Avengers" was fantastic American entertainment for sure.
However, if Iron Man were not part of the team, it would be not fun as much for sure.
I wouldn't even come to see that movie. Would you? Hahaha.
This movie seems to be only the beginning of the series because more than half of the movie spent "team building" among heroes. It means there is more to come.
Also, missing someone??? From Marvel???
Yeah, Spiderman. Will he be part of this??? Will see.
Also am wondering that there is no continuation of "Iron Man (3)" anywhere?
If no more, I'll get disappointed very much.
Anyway, fun day with fun entertainment. Just good for me.
Now I need to get back to work.
Tong ni phom tham gaan mak mak na…
See ya!

Festivity in the Room
30, 04 12, 20:22
It was long day for me.
Yes, I worked today… Thailand has no Golden Week… too bad!!! Hahaha.
Plus, it was quite important day because of important meetings took place.
I spoke too much in the meeting today.
Plus, I was quite frustrated and upset. Yes, I admit it.
I probably spoke more than needed to.
I regret a bit.
My anger stole quite of energy for sure.
Thai teacher made a remark in today's lesson that I seemed to be quite tired.
That was true!!!
Joined the team dinner at the apartment of one of the members tonight.
I finished the Thai lesson and ate alone… then joined. Quite late… 9pm or 9:30pm.
Though, that team gathering didn't conclude early… rather continued on and on.
Some serious talk mixed with fun topics… lots of smiles and laughs.
Thus, we started beer and more on whiskey afterwards. Hahaha.
Quite festivity among team members! Good team building, too!!!
I've never said that this would last long like 2:30am or so. I've never said it. Hehehe.

My 39th Birthday
25, 04 12, 20:19
What's up, folks!
It is my birthday… yes it was my 39th.
Wait. Am I truly 39 years old now?
I feel like I turned around toward becoming younger!
Let's say, I were about 35 years old! (big difference?)
I received so many HBD messages from different media including mixi, Facebook, and other social network.
Of course, direct emails and special phone calls… I thank you for that. Truly.
I am quite delighted!
Yesterday, I shared with you the story about some surprise the client threw for me.
Today another story here.
I came to a big cake again! This time, sweet cake! (khanonkheek)
I feel like I were a kid because this kind of celebration never took plea for a long time!!!
You know what I mean. Whole cake, candles, and blow on my own!
The party took place at "Soi 8" Irish Bar.
It was my first visit even though rest of project members have been there more than several times!
Hmm, why not me… until today??? Hahaha
Shiro~ Thanks for neat party, bro.
"Irish" Pub still serves Thai food. Interesting (nan khao jai)
Big cake, huh!
Lastly, we played the pool.
First time in long time for me. Since Thunderbird???
I did play it okay. Everyone won once and break even among three of us.
Peace.
Last even for the night was the massage.
Body oil massage in Phrom Phom.
I have been to foot massage once in February or March… none other than that.
Kind of hesitation to the oil and entire body to be massaged.
It was not bad at all.
Though, I felt a bit awkward about the fact that I had to be naked… entirely. Oops.
hahaha (555 in Thai numeric expression)
Oh, one more thing… I cannot forget about it.
BD present from MoonFlower. It was a bangle. Cool huh!
Remember that blue is best fitting color to me? Yeah, perfect fit, huh.
Anyway, happy 39th birthday for myself! Hehehe.
Good night!
Oops, I'd better call my mother… who has the birthday same as mine… TODAY!
Happy birthday, Mom!
It is my birthday… yes it was my 39th.

Marashida's Wedding Party
08, 04 12, 20:42
Really coming true!!!
My friend for a long time… Marashida finally got married today!
Congratulations!
It was first time for me to meet his darling wife.
Beautiful wedding cake.
They are smiling to each other…
Many friend of mine came to join me to celebrate.
(L-R) Akiyoshi, Ryuji, Tetsu, Marashida, Tsbk, Ogakijin, Ayako, and Kirk
It was a great party and we witnessed the couple's departure into new life.
They have lots of smiles and made others feel very happy for them!
Great stuff!
I had to make a quick speech for the couple… and I was the first.
I didn't prepare too much; though, it was okay. Hahaha.

It was a big group gathering tonight for sure.
We all went to Wine Connection at K Village in Bangkok for fun!
Yes, I was part of the party!!!
And I obviously drank too much… like DRUNK? Hahaha.
Yes, great weekend opening for sure.
Who missed this festivity???

02, 03 12, 23:19
Friday night was fun with long time friend Kirk.
He must be famous in this website, right?
Kirk and I have known each other for over decade… 15 years or so, already.
Since we were both in Atlanta...
Somehow he really matches to such background! Hahaha.
Lots of sake bottles right behind him.
Since it was pretty chilly outside, we stuck to the hot sake.
No beer tonight!
Even MoonFlower joined us and we three had lots of talk and laughs.
Kirk and I even went on after that restaurant. Fun talk continued over the bar in my usual place.

Helping to Move-in
18, 02 12, 23:55
It's Saturday!!! (Wanni wansau!!!)
As usual, I went to school for Thai language lesson.
Of course, I took care of laundry and other miscellaneous matters home.
Lesson went with no problem… except…
Surprise quiz was given!
1st half was choosing right answer from 2 alternatives.
2nd half was of composing the answer to the given questions.
There were 10 questions. Oh boy.
This quiz didn't end upon finishing the all questions.
Teacher asked me to read each question and my answer at loud.
Then I had to explain what it means in English.
Gee, this quiz was full course quiz! Hahaha.
Well, thank God, I was okay upon being given A.
Thereafter, I went to Nana Station to get together with my colleagues.
I came down there to help them to move in to new apartment. They are no longer allowed to stay in hotel because, like me, they're expected to "live" in Bangkok for a while.
Probably another 3-4 months. SERIOUSLY!
Apartment room seems very nice and fully furnished!!!
Bed size is queen!
Pretty cool view from the apartment window.
Hallway is ordinary. Hahaha.
Lobby was at least clean.
My friends were so serious in choosing the linen design.
I usually pick very vivid color. Though, they were pretty conservative. Hahaha.
When finished all shopping for move-in, it was already passed 6pm.
So we went out for dinner and ended up at pretty expensive Italian restaurant.
Italian… I cannot resist too much.
Lasagna! It was my wonderful choice of the night!
Sweet was awesome!
Some entertainment followed immediately after that restaurant.
Perfect night for me and other friends seemed to have fun WAY much more than me. Hahaha.
Good night!

Hahaha.
Good night!
Another Bangkok Life to Begin

Yes, Bangkok once again!
Welcome back!!!
This time, I will remain in this country until the end of this month...
Came to the airport early enough… the check-in counter wasn't even open yet when arrived.
It didn't take me even 15 minutes to finish check-in, though.
Tetsu was also in the airport. His destination was Hong Kong.
He had to go for 1-week training. Good luck!
He bought me a cup of Starbucks. Thanks!
TG (Thai Airways) flight was with pretty new aircraft.
Seat-in entertainment was something I was really desperated to have during the 7-hour flight.
Watched:
"Body of Lies"
"Crazy, Stupid, Love"
"Bourne Ultimatum"
and partially,
"Get Smart"
Chicken was my choice turned out to be a good one.
Arrived at the BKK airport around 5pm. It was 7pm when I got back to corporate apartment.
Went out for dining to the nearby Thai restaurant. Local restaurant which I had never been before.
It was all pretty good! Reasonable as well!
Found good place to eat from apartment.
Man, day one in Bangkok was darn productive!!! Hehehe.
Another thing in Day One… new watch.
Yes, Tendence Watch came to its debut!!!
White watch - super duper cool!!! Don't you think?
I will put this on my wrist quite often from now on.
White watch…. perfect item for summer or summer-like weather!

New Year's 1st Gathering for Celebration
10, 02 12, 23:28
Yes, it was my day off today!
What's wrong with this??? For rest of this month, I will remain in Bangkok…
This is my only day for being myself doing anything I want.
Wait. What about the weekend?
What about it? I said, "being myself." Hahaha.
In the morning, I went out driving to the nearby theatre for movie.
"The Penthouse" is the movie selected.
I thought that it would be super duper funny…
Well, it wasn't that bad… but so unrealistic… from one scene to another. Hahaha.
Went to McDonald's after the movie for late lunch.
Then, studied Thai language for an hour in the same place.
Yes, am still pushing myself to learn that language.
I could go home thereafter… though, I shifted the car to different direction.
Something can be done easily on weekday instead of weekend.
Yeah, test drive!
Italian car, Alfa Romeo… I went to the dealership for taking a look.
Brand new "Julietta."
Rear design is my favorite!
I did a test drive… it was fun to drive!
Yeah, this is going to be our next car!!!
Wait, I have to get approval from MoonFlower… Hard to get??? Will see.
Friend's gathering over dinner tonight.
Usual friends.
Tetsu came late around 10pm after work.
He's super busy… great salesperson he is!
Will be in Hong Kong next week?
Tsbk (left) and Marashida (right)
Finally (about time?), Marashida is going to get married very soon --- line next month.
Congratulations!!!
It was fun gathering for sure and I over-drank for sure.
Went on to a bar after the restaurant…
It was way passed the midnight. Hahaha.

T-bird Reunion with Vichan
20, 01 12, 01:17
Had long and interesting meeting with client today.
Got stop by an even more interesting place after work.
"Ramen Champions" is the name of the place.
Wow, totally Japanese!
This is the place where you can try 6 different ramen noodle… which are famous in Japan!
So we have selected this place… KEISUKE.
Ramen with salt soup.
Very yum… just like one in Japan! I cannot tell even the difference.
After work, I had some appointment.
Went to bar "Marshmallow" on the 11th street (soi 11) in Sukhumvit area.
You know, I had a ride with taxi… No more fears!
Very cool interior… unlike Thai. Hahaha.
Started with beer while waiting for friend to arrive.
Do not fall to a sleep! Hehehe.
I cannot resist… too much!
even oyster...
with T-bird … it is Vichan (in the rear).
It was all his coordination! Thank you so much!!!
Always wonderful to have friends everywhere!!!
It was a nice little party with friends…. Siro-san and Vichan-san and me.
Lots of talk… they are priceless and endless.
I should look for more T-birds in town!!! Nice to have such reunion.

K-Village's Wine Place
17, 01 12, 02:36
It was WINE Night tonight!!!
Went to K-Village…
Took us a while to get a taxi… because I (probably) didn't ask the drivers precisely what I wanted.
We had to let at least three taxis.
K-Village.
Our destination - Wine Connection Deli & Bistro
Very modern interior.
Tonight's host… Shiro-chan.
Also me in the picture. Too drunk?
The 3rd and last bottle for the night was South African!
Never ever tasted ever…
Absolutely 1st time…
Tasted different for sure. Not bad though. Interesting!
Man, I am more than content about how things were for me tonight.
Perfect bottle and food… I cannot wait for another time.
Once MoonFlower made a trip over Bangkok, I had no doubt whatsoever to take her there immediately!
Hehehe.
