In Japan, Christmas day is not holiday and it was ordinary working day.
Thus, MoonFlower had to go to work. Me? Still jobless. Hahaha.

He gave me a dress shirt for work. Hahaha ironic… I have to work harder now.
This blue shirt looks very nice. This will be my pick for 1st day at new work.

I guess, this new shirt is my pick on New Year's Day. Hehehe.
2013 is going to be a new and fun year for sure.

Just dropped those cards at local post office this morning.

Before the year-end party - another party came. iPad mini 64GB White is ready for my pickup.   Yodobashi Camera do not give me a call. Insteady, I have to check the site for inventory. They cancel order unless picked up within 3 days.  Pick-up was immediately carried out. Hahaha. My new gadget is finally arrived. Didn't take much to set it up because of using the "installation from backup." Quite simple. Dinnar party took place in Roppongi. Yeah, I used to go that place for work for long time… Very fancy place… lot of cute girls in town! Hahaha.  "Lie back" restaurant for party. I was the 1st person shown up.       Full of foods. Ate too much.  Many friends!  Isao's birthday today. A little surprise.  Good cake. Strawberries covered.  Fun people together tonight!

Today's my plan didn't come around easily.
In fact, I had to submit the all expenses and other (misc!) information to the firm for month-end closing.
Well, the system didn't allow me to.

Hate such a disturbance.

Had to rely on the system support who didn't come back in ideal cycle.
All this resulted that I had to stay in... all day long. Hahaha.

That really happens, right? It just did.

As a matter of fact, I had (still do) a long list of To-Do's.
Within today, finished almost nothing.
Too bad.

-Read some books related to work
-Haircut

Even Monday - I went out for watching some movie… that I cannot watch in Thailand.
Yeah, brand new Japanese movie… very famous one called:

"Odoru Daisousasen the Final"



Famous TV serious extended to the movie… and this is truly final one (so advertised).
Funky but serious and bold detective's story was quite heart-warming and humorous.
The final movie was not much of disappointment.

Laughed a lot.

Surprising enough that there were so many people came to watch this movie.
Must be really popular… and lots of people are off on Monday??? Hahaha.



Light supper… I'd better watch my weight and diet??? Sure!

Oh one more thing… some shopping completed. Two deliveries were made.



"Voice GATE" is USD memory stick with voice recording feature.
Automatically upload to the Evernote soon as connected to PC or Mac.
Pretty cool, huh!

I loved it so far.

There is no play function on its own, though. Hahaha.



Mouse for work. Never used before…
I thought that it would help my stiff shoulders.



Also, this mouse has presentation control integrated.

Tried and worked very well.



It was hot but full of blue sky today.

Turned out very relaxing time for myself.
Went to nearby comic cafe to check magazines and read some comics along with coffee.
900 yen for 3 hours - pretty good deal because I do not have to buy those latest magazines at all.

Seems to be two coffee to enjoy… to pay off 900 yen. Hahaha.

Forgot to mention of yesterday's shopping result.
Not completely window shopping it was.

Except one pair of glasses for home use.



Italian-made "iittala" was our choice.
Hand-blowing glasses they are. Pretty valuable.

Used to work together.

Fun continued and we went to my "usual" bar.
Every time I come home, I make a quick stop-by.

Had only one glass of whisky… good enough.

It is Monday night and I went out for drinks with Kirk tonight.
He said that he would have to go to hospital for check-up tomorrow.

Then, he drinks with me tonight?
Asked him many times if this was okay or not.

He totally okayed. Really? Yeah, really.
Hope things will be okay with him tomorrow.

Finally arrived.

Usually, user has to order for new belt upon selecting type of leather and leather color.



They are navy color. Can you see?



Since purchase, default brown belt has been worn out over 4 years.
Now time to "refresh."



So cool even without the belt. Hahaha.

The fabric is French-made. I somehow like this brand for a long time.

Today - late start… but went down to Chiba.
Open-Air Wine Bar was the destination.

2nd one was pretty good! Still like the 3rd one.

Yeah, Johnny Depp movie… Another movie by Tim Burton.
Dark Shadows it was.
Well, I heard that this movie was re-make of old TV series. Is that true?

Anyhow, I love the jokes that were from time difference of 2 centuries. Hahaha.

The story was not that well written, I thought. Though, it was fun entertainment overall.

Not that disappointing for sure. Hahaha.

I, immediately after work today, went out to MBK. Famous electronic shopping mall in Bangkok.
Straight into Apple Authorized Dealer.
The answer was no. "Not received for today. In 3 days."

Yes, this is Thailand. No surprise for such incident. Minor stuff.

I won't easily give up on that… so went to next candidate.

iStudio - the Thai's biggest Apple deal in the country.
iStudio at Siam Center… not too far from MBK.
Yes, they had it.

64GIG 4G WHITE was my choice.

Actually, my coworker "requested" (translated as "forced") me to buy one more for him.
Thus, I ended up getting two at a time.
Of course, VAT refund document was completed. Don't leave Thailand without it!



Perfect replacement to current iPad (original) 64GIG 3G!
Finally.
Retina display is a big change in specification. Though, to me, the camera-equipped is another major difference.

After getting the iPad, I had to return to the team for not work but fun.
Team dinner took place nearby the project site.
