Finally Back Home

Chased by Typhoon!!!
Before talking about typhoon, I have to say big "thank-you" to two ladies.
Khun Tity and Khun Poon.
They showed up to the airport for farewell this morning.
It was quite early... like 6am.
Yossy and I were only the members took off today.
Everyone else yet remains around.
Those ladies are really kind for coming up just to say goodbye.
So nice of you for sure. Thank you!!!
Flight was totally okay.
No changes due to the weather, either.
Food was okay... hahaha.
Ate boiled rice. Better choice for me.
However, I didn't have much appetite.
Had more sleepiness then.
No movie watched completely.
All ones that I would be interested the most were previously watched.
Thus, I didn't pay much attention.
Arrived at Narita on time, 3:35pm.
In perfect timing, I caught airport shuttle bus!!!
I ran a little to the stop to catch the bus.
Very rare to run for me...
My main concern was of taxi at the bus stop...
Found three when bus was approaching to the stop.
I was quite lucky today.
Got a ride right away... made home around 5:40pm.
10 mins after that... big rain storm hit the area.
Surely from the typhoon.
I didn't get wet at all...
Perfectly worked out for me.
Quite lucky for sure.
Surely, rough and tough to get chasing by typhoon. Hahaha.

I know and you know that 30th is last day in Bangkok, Thailand…
Means that I won't have to come here often any more.

Meaning I should not worry too much.

Lower the expectation - is the name of corner in "MadTV" program… so I remember.
Hahaha.
Too bad… I just came to know that MadTV was no longer on FOX.
Compared to Saturday Night Live - it was much easier for me to understand… hahaha.
Was good memory of my past living in US for sure.
Anyhow, lowering the expectation may be the key for me to resolve / cancel the stress from the work.
Yeah, I should NOT expect too much from serious work.
Maybe I can do easy job…
"Fuzzy" can be suitable alternative to seriousness in this particular work. Hahaha.
Yeah, maybe.
Client may come "out of box."
If I think pretty much logically from the all previous steps of the project milestone…
I easily get lost in the middle of nowhere… hardly finish the job forever.
You know what I mean.
Thus, it is wise not to expect too much out of what I (we) do.
See how things are really going down.
Yet, time is limited. Let it flow. Hahaha.
For that kind of discussion took place at usual place.
Usual "Wine Connection."
Didn't realize that they have so many different kids of beer.

Even Monday - I went out for watching some movie… that I cannot watch in Thailand.
Yeah, brand new Japanese movie… very famous one called:
"Odoru Daisousasen the Final"
Famous TV serious extended to the movie… and this is truly final one (so advertised).
Funky but serious and bold detective's story was quite heart-warming and humorous.
The final movie was not much of disappointment.
Laughed a lot.
Surprising enough that there were so many people came to watch this movie.
Must be really popular… and lots of people are off on Monday??? Hahaha.
Light supper… I'd better watch my weight and diet??? Sure!
Oh one more thing… some shopping completed. Two deliveries were made.
"Voice GATE" is USD memory stick with voice recording feature.
Automatically upload to the Evernote soon as connected to PC or Mac.
Pretty cool, huh!
I loved it so far.
There is no play function on its own, though. Hahaha.
Mouse for work. Never used before…
I thought that it would help my stiff shoulders.
Also, this mouse has presentation control integrated.
Very cool.
Tried and worked very well.
It was hot but full of blue sky today.
I didn't mind to stand in the balcony watching around like that.

Since MoonFlower had previous engagement and was away from home today…
I've got entire freedom for a day! Hahaha.
Well, no plan for me, though.
Turned out very relaxing time for myself.
Went to nearby comic cafe to check magazines and read some comics along with coffee.
900 yen for 3 hours - pretty good deal because I do not have to buy those latest magazines at all.
Seems to be two coffee to enjoy… to pay off 900 yen. Hahaha.
Forgot to mention of yesterday's shopping result.
Not completely window shopping it was.
Except one pair of glasses for home use.
Italian-made "iittala" was our choice.
Hand-blowing glasses they are. Pretty valuable.
For MoonFlower - she picked this reddish color.
I was quite between grey and blue… ended up with latter.
Pretty beautiful.
Very nice.

Window Shopping Day & Home Dinner
Started with my most favorite… MoonFlower's home made French toast!!!
What a perfect day! Hahaha( a bit exaggeration)
This time, she used oven… though, we both concluded that we (she) had better use pan, instead.
Drove to Yokohama. Nice driving for sure. Didn't take too long and no traffic jam.
Lunch - Okonomiyaki.
Surely, it was MF's pick. Hahaha.
Didn't shop much… it was precisely WINDOW SHOPPING.
Though, picked some foods to take home because we knew that we would open a bottle tonight.
So tonight's bottle…

Second label??? How come MF could get such bottle?

Comic cafe was part of my "to-do" list for this time's stay in Japan. Hahaha.
Today, I have to put a check mark on that particular line item on the list.
In the afternoon, went to comic cafe… providing a (tiny!) space for reading comics or surfing the net.
My purpose??? Of course, I have to read "Kami no Shizuku" - the comic about exploring the wine.
"Kami no Shizuku" can be translated as "Drips of God."
Grabbed #5 to #10… though, within 2 hours, I hardly finished them. Hahaha.
I need to come back.
Also, there is a lot of "other temptation." Lots of magazines are available.
I'd better check those out first… more than comic. Hahaha.

I hadn't see one friend for a long time even though we are known each other for almost 4 years or so.

Hi folks!
Of course I didn't forget about the English update here. hahaha.
I was quite lazy. Yes, I admit it.
I only concentrated to deal with Japanese blog!
2nd day at new office.
Still doing the project that is yet taking place in Bangkok.
Now start thinking of "vacation" that I deserve right after this project.
Wait.
Next phase of what we're doing for now?
Good question.
Well, Even if there is the next phase of the project, I may not be the one for running the project.
It means that I can be assigned to something else. Yeah, another project at different location.
Anyhow, I will plan to take a long vacation.
Long means how long?
Hmm.
Let's say, 20 days? Combined with ordinary weekends, I can be "away from work" for whole month.
Not bad, huh. Not bad at all.
After 5 years working for consulting firm like this, I think most of you okay me for that, right?
Hehehe.
Tonight after work-
Joined with Tetsu and Tsbk for supper.
Took place in Koiwa area. Yeah, my area.
Not much drinks for me as:
started with beer
glass of wine (very small glass) followed
That was it!
Quite little... almost nothing, right?
Yeah, I was quite up to drinks... but ended up drank some.
Maybe I was quite up to the talk with good friends.
Both are yet in logistics industry and I have lots to learn from them.
Also, I learned that there were so many people suffered from mental illness there.
I should be careful about that... which can happen to anyone.
Thanks to both friends tonight, had fun topic kept going.
Festivity closed around 11pm before too late since Tetsu had to go long way to home.
After the fun, I could go on to my "usual" bar for more...but didn't.
Maybe tomorrow? Since I have another friend to go dine with. Hahaha.

New Office means New Route for Commute

Hello from hot summer Japan!!!
Worse than Bangkok for sure. Higher humidity as well.
Today, first commute to Tokyo Office in the month.
Not only of first time... but first time to new office.
Yes, the firm has bee relocated into brand new building!
Much better location, too!!!
Located in Akasawa area... fancy shopping and dining area.
Lots of corporate offices, too.
Very convenient.
New office facilitated with brand new furniture. Not bad.
There is "down" area with sofa in the center of entire floor.
I haven't got a chance to lay down yet. Hahaha.
Hmm, let me see...

Meaning...
I do not have to work much.
Rather, I can go out for having fun.
Then... notably, I can spend night if I missed the last train for the day.
Really?
That would be cool.
Saving some money for hotel room.

I am quite thankful.

I should work well to generate good performance so that my employment is to be retained?
