Rare to happen… MoonFlower and I get completely separated into different activity on any weekend.
MF got a whole day planning for drinking and drinking and even more drinking.
I was left alone and enjoyed complete freedom.

You can imagine how that means to a person like me.

Drove C-coupe to the usual deal for appointment.
Not for service. I wanted to check something.
Sales in charge checked the vehicle and service appointment will be coordinated as needs.

Last weekend's damage to the tyre wheel is easily fixed, shortly.



According to sales person, there is GLB coming next year.
GLB?
Another SUV type coming up. Maybe I should get such "taste" of driving SUV for fun.

CLA coupe is well-perceived in public as well. So sedan is still not low profile as far as within the premium brand segment.

TV shows World Trampoline 2019 and it was first time for me to watch such a sport.
Why?
Because I need to know of this sport since holding a ticket for Tokyo 2020 - Trampoline Mens Final!



It was simple rule sport; however, few can even complete 10 different jump styles.
Oh that is so difficult.
Strong mentality gets required on top of physical strength and jump techniques.

Routine check at watch shop to see the inventory and sales trend and I spent several hours.

Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Sohne, what else.
Santos de Cartier may be a cool choice for me? However, it is too new to be seen at the shop yet.

Home alone at night resulted two small wine bottle consumed.
Total 500ml or more… I had more than usual tonight.
No wonder that alcohol got me quicker than usual and I went to bed early.

Not bad… ordinary Saturday night. Hahaha.

Well, no work for me today. At least didn't go to the office.
Unfortunately, I had to open the work laptop to see and reply some emails.
Other than that, it was simple and plain as relaxing myself as much.

No plans in particular for the day.
Around noon, some idea to go out for do something just crossed my mind. But in vain.
I stuck with TV and all recorded TV dramas are checked out.

MoonFlower went on a business trip today. That is rare… and last time in this year.



She gave me this box of potato chips - limited edition available only in Gunma.
Flavor is rather complicated as Sukiyaki flavor?! Oh boy… that is unique.
Hope that this would be a good one. Will see.



Box of fruits was also delivered from Yamagata under some distribution program.
Apples and Asian pears ("La France")
Cool.



Dinner was along with Sake tonight. She brought back a small bottle of sake from Gunma.
"Mizubasho" (skunk cabbage).
This taste pretty light and pure. Can go with any kind of dish or any cuisine for sure.

This time, this Sake went with Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake style food with vegetables and either seafood or meats).
Friday is easily adjourned like that!

Happened to drink two nights in a row.
Tonight, I was with some insider from a particular industry.
I have met that person over the project a long time ago.

Back in May, I had 1st private dining with him. It was a pretty good getting-to-know-each-other.
Today it was 2nd night with him.
During the conversation in May night, we talked about nostalgic places for drinks.

Following that conversation, we showed up in Kayabacho.



Place called "New Kayaba" - entrance doesn't seem to be normal for a place to drink.
Looks rather like just garage.
Maybe that is the concept.



Atmosphere was absolutely old time like Showa-era.
Even smoking inside is allowed. You can see how "smoky" it was inside…
Sake-serving vending machine was also interesting. In fact, I haven't seen such for very long time.

Then moved on to 2nd place.
It was liquor store with bar counter.
You can buy bottle and drink it inside.



My company and I looked around for the bottle of night.
He had more knowledge of wine than I did and I decided to follow him.
He selected 3rd gran cru wine for ourselves.

Good choice it was. That would be super expensive wine if this were ordinary dining in the restaurant.
This is darn great place to taste solely wine!
Foods are still provided with certain variety, though.

He and I had good common interest in car, jazz, wine, what else…
Great to have such chance coming familiar with someone like him.
On top of all, he is a industry expert and can provide lots of insights. That is another great value.

Long night with full of drinks made me feel truly short. Great fun.

It was fun night with colleagues.

The restaurant was always busy and crowded… just not tonight somehow.

So timing was good and I came to a good dinner with colleagues.
